  The unit simply will not start. Wondering if it has a built-in fuse or any other device that might prevent it from starting. It has never been submerged or mishandled.

  Blue standby light does not work
  The blue standby light no longer works. What sort of lamp is it and can it be renewed. The red light and keep warm lights function OK and the kettle boils OK.
