    Stopped working
    Sunbeam Beatermix portable mixer.
    My 85 year old mother has asked me to find out if this Sunbeam mixer of hers can be repaired. She has had it for a very long time (since new pre 1970) and with regular weekly use it has finally succumb to old age. I just need an answer as she keeps asking me is it fixed yet, as she does it all by hand now.

    The mixer runs too slowly. I cannot open it. I removed the green trigger button and pushed the long button opposite the trigger but it still does not want to come apart. I do not have the owner's manual. Has anyone taken such an appliance apartQ?
