Hi,
I have one MCDATA 4400 16 port switch.
Now i want to reset this switch as factory default setting. I have pressed reset switch for 5 second and try to connect
using crossover cable but failed. Please help to resolve this problem.
Note: I have already set my host IP address 10.1.1.55 / 2…

USB connector wiring
The red, white and black wires have broken loose from their soldered connections on the circuit board. Anyone know which goes where? I don't want to toss it just because the wire broke. Thanks!

kvm freeze
It freezes. The keyboard is working, but the mouse does not. Once it freezes, it does not allow the swith to be switched. However, once the mouse port is reset (unplug the mouse connecter at the back of the kvm, and olug it back in) it works again.

Not accessible
Switch configured for local network, but no no access to configuration.
SSM finds the device with the initial IP-address (192.168.1.1), even it has been changed for local network.
Device does not accept the changed password, nor is accessible via webconfig by any IP-address.

So many sites say that you can use this switch for both audio AND microphone. However, there is only one audio port on the front. How can I connect a headset (containing speakers AND a microphone) and be able to use both parts of it with the switch?
