Player will not turn on completely
The player will light up when you press the on button and then it turns right back off. The manual is on the player so we have no way to look to see what we should do. Can you tell us what to try or do?
Is there a way to reset it?

battery charged but empty right away without using
i charge the mpman for 3 hours..get the message charge completed..but then i see that is not full (example less by 2 strokes)..even so the next day the mpman battery is empty after charging for 3 hours although i had not used it at all..can u tell me problem and solution please?

Please provide information regarding how to set lock/unlock setting. My son received this MP3 player as a birthday gift and it is now has been locked accidently. The Quick Start Guide does not provide any information how how to unlock the unit for use.

no free memory!
I have taken all songs off of my MP3 player, but the free memory still reads as though the songs are still there, meaning I can't load any other songs onto it. So instead of the 256MB that should be available (it's empty), the free memory reads 18KB.

does anyone know how if you can reset the screenplay HD media player? i just get a blue screen when ever i plug it in to the tv and i think its because i changed the video out put in the settings menu. But since i only get a blue screen i cant see the menu's to change it back. Any idas? thanks

Locking -up
There is a screw that holds the battery on the back under a horse shoe shaped sticker / cover.
Remove this screw and CAREFULLY pry the back off at the sides near the bottom of the door / cover.
Upon removing it, there is a very small connector on a short pigtail wire. Disconnect and then reconnect…

trouble with charging
