  I replaced the worn-out CR2430 with a new DL2430 (3 volt. The scale just goes crazy-- no useful result. Is it the battery type? I positioned it according to the +/- embossing.

  scale giving false readings
  how do you recaliberate the digital scale? Its giving false readings. anywhere from 50-60 lbs off over a period of time making you think you lost that much weight but when you go to a doctors office you really didn't loose that much weight.

  Tried two different batteries. Both batteries are good 3 volt. Missing a plastic cap on the back 2 inch by 3/4 inch covering electronics. Is there a jumper missing from the two terminals that are inside this cover? covered by warrenty?
