Blank left margin
EVerytime I scan something, it comes out with about a 1 inch blank or almost blank strip. I have tried cleaning everything and looked for staples or damage from staples. What should I do?

Problems in XP
I have a Windows 2000 Laptop[ that scans fine from the Scanjet 3300c Scanner, But it will not work in XP at all. I installed the drivers many times. If you have any idea what I could do to get the scanner to work in XP.

Will not copy
Press start to make copy and nothing happens. Display shows the word scanning but just sits there. No error message or paper jams. Any ideas!

No beam after new power pack
I have been unable to get my scanner to provide a beam to scan after getting a new battery pack. The sequence was sttarted to train the charging cycle, and now the beam will not activate.

A resistor has overheated and destroyed itself. I need to know the value of the resistor to replace it. In the photo it is the resistor at the farthest left, closest to the camera.

Computer Locks UP
Just bought a used dr-5020. Have a problem with computer locking up when I start to scan. The scanner will run one page and computer says scanning and locks up with only one page scanned. Must do hard re-boot. Using scandall 21. Tried capture perfect and same thing happened.. Any ideas

No sound from scanner
My scanner is still scanning, and stopping on hits, but I can't hear anything. Volume/Squelch are fine, antenna is fine. Tried unplugging & moving, etc. and nothing.
Is there a way to reset the scanner to eliminate this problem? I would prefer, if possible, not to eliminate the programmed channels…

Multiple feed assembly "came off"
The approx. 1 sq. inch plate and attaching bracket that allows the scan of multiple pages came off; how do I reattach it? Single page scans still work great.
