  Smoke Detector Gone Wild?!
  My smoke alarm started chirping loudly - once per minute which seems to signify a need for a new battery which I replaced. The detector continues to chirp once per minute anyway. In fact, the detector chirps even without a 9V in it which seems bizarre...?

  alarm sounding without smoke
  sporadic alarm soundinging in both rooms, lasting about 20 seconds, repeating every 20 min. to 5 hours. Solid green light with flash of red every 10 seconds.
