I have the projector on the ceiling up side down and want to flip the screen

Lamp wont light up after new install
I have just recently inserted a new Lamp which is the correct lamp for the projector and it fits well inside, it also has been screwed down to keep it secure.
I placed the cover back on with two screws and inserted all the cables needed correctly in the right place. I then powered the projector on and it flashed green which is a good sign. Then after 40 seconds or so, it made an even louder noise and then the lamp signal went red, it would flash and then stay at a constant red, the power light would also do the same. I read the manuel and it mentioned about pressing the reset button on the projector, i did this but nothing happened. Then the projector just powered itself off. I turned it off and removed the lamp 2 times to see if it was my problem. After placing everything back to where it was, the problem still occured.

What could i be doing wrong? This is a brand new Lamp and does not look damaged in any way. Could it just be the Projector?
