no remote
I accidentally washed the remote- I cant find any channels on the TV itself, just the on/off button. Are there some hidden channel buttons somewhere on this tv to use without remote?

i cannot afford a $30 remote right now - got a universal one from the dollar store, and when I press menu, nothing happens - would like to know if menu is accessible (for picture and sound and channel setting/auto programming) without the original remote, please.

Ejects tape and powers off
It will eject a tape then power off even in DVD mode. It will open the tape door a little even without a tape and then power off. It has done this since we lost power due to Ike.

Will not power on
when turning the power on, a blue screen comes on for about 3 seconds and then the screen goes back to black. TV will be 2 yrs old in Nov. 2008 and I have never had a problem with it until now. Please help me out.

can't make it work with 2nd tv
this is a receiver with an "anywhere" remote. I haven't had a 2nd tv to hook it up to since a while after we first had it installed and I cannot find my manual or my instructions. I need help making it work on the 2nd tv. Is there a code I need to key in somewhere or what do I need to do?

Magnavox TV purchased in 1993 - No Picture/sound from DVD Player
Just bought a new Sony dvd/vhs player and hooked up the wires. No picture or sound from player. I'm sure the cables are correct, the player says it's playing but no evidence on TV. I don't see that TV has an "Input" or "Auxillary" option.

deleting last title
After recording a title there is always a blank title at the end of the titles you have recorded. When I finalize the disc, that extra blank title is on the list. How do I get rid of that blank title?

Finalizing
I have tried over and over to copy a VHS to DVD but can't seem to figure it out. I think the problem is with finalizing but it doesn't finalize. How can reset to factory settings? I think it may have asked the very first time. I am so frustrated. Please help me. Thank you.

trying to record any way either by OTR or timer and all was say cannot record on disc error 21 or error 22 or error 23 no explaination in manual and as usual cs is not open till noon or so dont have time to muck with them also want to transfer old vcr tapes to disc but still get message using verbat…

tape stuck in machine
