will not change speed
worked fine, now it goes on and remains at beginning speed no matter what. Speed sensor wire ok, connections seem ok, don't know? Is there a way to recallibrate this unit?

Belt slipping
I can feel the belt slipping when I'm walking at speeds of 3.8 - 4.2 and probably slip at higher speeds. What do I need to eliminate the slipage.

Speed on the treadmill
My treadmill just started where it will not pick up any speed, the machine turns on and the roller slowly starts to move, if you try and increase the speed it will not increase. everything else seems to be working fine..any ideas ?

belt slipping off
just purchased and used for only 4 days and the belt is slipping off. It isn't easy to get too to put back on but i did and after using for 5 minutes after being back on it slipped off again.

ramp
The ramp keeps getting stuck at the 30 degree level and wont move. I can hear the motor trying to move it but it just seems stuck on something. It happened one time before but I no longer have the manual and cant remember what I did to get it free.

noise
My CX998 recently starded making a loud grinding noise after each revolution. Also the entire moving process of the handles and pedals seems loose and wobbley, but makes a totally different range of noises than the grinding in the rear of the machine.

Noise
Seems to be some loud bangs at the end of each stride - sounds like it is coming from within the track that the nylon wheels run in. Anything anyone might be able to offer in terms of eliminating this noise.

calibration
We just had the console replaced on our elliptical. The service rep said that we would need to calibrate it on order to use the incline mechanism and that instructions would be in our owner's manual, but they are not. Can you please help?

belt slips
When you start the treadmill, it feels as the belt is loose as it slips. It rotates fine until you step on it and the weight won't allow it to move forward. Do I need a new belt or can I tighten the current one?

resistence
The machine seems to be stuck in level 10 resistence. The read out shows it has changed but it does not get any easier, or harder. This would not be too bad if it was not at such a hard setting.

Treadmill trouble
NordicTrack EXP2000 - NCTL 199.2 ... had it a few years but hardly used. Tried to use it the other day but it wouldn't run. Everything lights up on the console and adjusts height and angle but the walking belt does not move. Sometimes it makes a couple of "thunk, thunk thunk" sounds when you try …

Treadmill won't turn on/display not correct
Treadmill won't turn on when start key is pushed--will only start by pushing start program key. Only speeds 4 and 10 work and stop key doesn't work. Also, can't change incline--it's stuck on 1.5 so can't fold up treadmill. HELP, please!

weight adjustment
when trying to do the same exercise with increased weight increments, the machine always says to disconect the cables so machine can readjust. Am I doing something wrong? With high tension on cables, it is sometimes hard to disconect cables for the readjustment. Any help appreciated.

Incline does not work
When the arrows to adjust the incline are used, there is no response. It does beep acknowleding the change but there is now sound from the motor. Can the incline motor be replaced easily ourselves?
