Can You Help With These Problems?

    Firmware
    A good friend of mine got a CD302 but there is some problem by using the buttons. The technician said he needs software/firmware and "reinstall" the CD player. If anybody has an idea from where/how to get in the firmware... Thx!

    power supply/plug-socket/info
    I'm asked to help with a 788 power supply - "a few pins missing" I haven't seen it yet , wanted to know A. if it's a kind of plug I've repaired before, and B. if diagram/voltage & amperage info avail if I need to bring together a different power supply. "Can't find replacement Power Supply"
