Poulan Chainsaw ES300

No rotation

While cutting large branches off an old tree, the blade stopped rotating the chain. The engine runs and sounds normal. Not sure why the chain is not rotating??? Oil was and is at normal level. Please advise.

    The drive gear is plastic and bad
