Panasonic TV/VCR Combo PVQ-2012

cable ready?

i have basic cable plugged into the tv but only get like 3 channels.I know it has to search for channels but i lost the remote.....i do have a universal and programmed it successfully but i cant change the channel i can only turn the volume up

    Sounds like you are using your tv and not your cable box for tuning. Don't use the tv, but leave it on channel 2 or 3 probably. Then you tune using the remote for the cable box.
