Panasonic Desktop PC CF-T2

connecting to the internet

I now have a Panasonic CF T2 laptop. I have limited knowledge about computers and don't know how to connect it to the wireless system I have in my home. Someone told me to by a WIRELESS NETWORK USB ADAPTER. This adapter has to be downloaded with the CD that it comes with. Now, I know this sounds foolish but I don't know that there is a place for a CD in this compputer. Can you advise me.
