JVC CD Player KD-DB711

will not reset

hi i recently disconnected the car battery to carry out some work on the car. when i reconnected i had to store all the dab radio chanels again ( no problem with that) however i canot select the display to scroll station info as it did prior to my disconnect. i can access the menu and select scroll to auto however the display just returns to the clock. i have also tried to reset the unit by depressing the small botton behind the display head this also fails to work all memorised stations stay memorised. i have even removed the entire unit for aprox 20 hrs this also fails to reset the unit any ideas / advice would be greatfully received
