deleting music off player???

i lost my owners manuel before i got a chance to read how i delete music off the player, so i can put some new music on it!!!
please help!!! i cant figure it out!!!!

    CAN NOT FIGURE OUT TO DELETE OLD MUSIC FROM COBY MP3. KILLED 4 BATTERIES TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT .PLEASE HELP!!
