Ryobi Outdoor Gas String Trimmer EZ" 700R

Pull string problems?

I inherited a Ryobi 700R "EZ" gas string trimmer that seems to have a pull strong problem.

When you pull the string out, it won't retract all the way, or does it really slowly.

I'm guessing I need to replace something with a spring, but don't have a clue.

Any suggestions?
