Sony DVD Player Problem's (Shock)
Posted by ahmedalhani on May 6th, 2008 at 8:03pm

Hello I am writing to you regarding my Sony DVD Player. It has been working great for me. But lately I have been having some troubles with it. Yesterday I bought a Juno, a DVD, from bestbuy. When I came home, I put my hand on the metal top, and i pressed the power button, and the little led turned from red to off, it was suppose to turn green. I pressed it again and it gave my hand a strong electric shock and then the power led turned flicking green. I was scared and i unplugged it. I tried using it today and it turned on, and I put in my Juno DVD but it kept saying NO DISC. I was confused. I tried with a ton of DVD's but it kept saying no disc. I checked the plug and it was connected to a very safe Power Surge Protector, and it was Protected. I don't understand what is wrong. I don't have the money to but an new DVD player, and i know how to use mine very well. What can I do to fix it. I have never opened it or throw it or done anything to harm it, It has always been safe. What Procedures can I take that wont cost me money. I am under 18, so i don't have a Credit Card or money for a new one. Thanks and have a great day.
