Pacific Digital Digital Photo Frame Memory Plus Vue 800

can't download photos from my computer

when the frame is plugged into my computer with the usb connector the frame just says connecting pc and just freezes there when i unplug it the message is disconnected with pc please restart. i am using microsoft vista home premium
