Omron Healthcare Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-773AC

will not pump up

unit will start to pump up and when it get to about 25 it give me an error, if i apply a little pressure to the cuff til it builds up to around 50 it will continue to complete the cycle. but ! is the reading correct? do you think it might be weak batteries?
