Compaq Projector Microportable 1600

LCD Project malfunction, please help

After initial turn on and warm up Picture blinks or jumps, and monitor stays on for 2 minutes and goes off and come back on. When it comes on its ok and then it starts to blink and jump alittle. It looses the color also. Sometimes a popping noise is heard.
