Poulan Electric Chainsaw 2750

Chain locked up

My husband was using our chainsaw and the chain locked up, now it will not move. Does anyone know how to remedy this situation? Our book doesn't cover this problem.

    I noticed that the entry had my saw as an electric saw, it is not. It is a gas powered saw for any who can answer my previous question
