Viper Car Alarm 671XV

when i try to lock the car with the lock button it doesnt always work, so i have to use the unlock button to lock it sumtimes, and when it doesnt lock and i open the door the alarm goes off... or when i get in the car both doors lock, or when i do unlock the car only the passenger door opens and not the drivers side. ?? can i reset the alarm n start fresh??
