Kenwood Car CD Player kdc-8015

Display Dark

When in position, the display is now dark. Everything else seems to function normally.

When you eject a Cd the face flips down and switches to radio, at which point is still lights up. So it's not burntout, it would seem that it's logic is screwed up.

Is this an expensive repair?
