Olympus Digital Camera D-535 ZOOM

My D-535 does not wont to open to get ready for photograpfing..

When pressed power button, the lens is coming out and then shutting itself back in,
and two small lights near the red button with camera icon on it , and below button with green arrow blinks for few seconds
What seems to be a problem ?? the battery are new.???
