RCA CD Player RP-9150

Stuck in standby

My player power lights are on, the clockface light is flashing, the standy light is flashing,the voume light is flashing. None of the buttons including the power button, are working so it won't shut off. I read the manual and it gave instructions to get out of standby but nothing changes. To Shut down I have to pull the plug. Help!!
