Sony Digital Camera DSC-W50

SHUTTER STICKS When turning on

When powering on my Sony CyberShot/Md#DSC-W50.The shutter part of the camera opens as it should do.. but then becomes stuck or jamed half way through fully opening.This causes it to malfunction by not allowing the camera to take Pic's, Access or View any contents stored on the camera.The shutter makes 3-4beep sounds while the shutter goes up & down but never fully opening or staying in the up position. After the 3rd warning,..the camera then beeps again and reads "Power Camera down & turn back on". but powering off always brings me right back to were I started.

    I failed to mention what started my shutter to not work correctly...I dropped my camera from about 2ft from the ground.
