Liebherr Refrigerator ctne

freezer freezing up too much

Hi I have a 10 year old (approx) fridge freezer. Freezer is on top and freezes too much.The ice builds up around the door and seal. I have lost instructions. How do I defrost? How often? and what is the switch for inside the refridgerator part? The width of this f/freezer is about 75cms and it is steel. I hope you know which one I mean.
