Bushnell Telescope 18-1561

Hello! The instruction manual (Lit # 98-0788/06/06) which I got with my telescope (18-1561) doesn't even begin to describe what the various lenses are, or how they are used. Can anyone teach me how to use my telescope? Or, perhaps I should find a local astronomy club? I got this telescope as a tenure gift from my company, and I'll bet it's a model that's been out of circulation for a good long while. Thanks!

    That's funny, I chose a telescope from my company as a "ten year" service award...and ended up with the same model:) If i learn anything i'll pass it on. Perhaps you could give me a few pointers by now because the manual is very un-insightful
