When this time has expired, an alarm sounds. Safety: Only use this timer for the purpose of timing. Protect from moisture. Max. 50C (120F). 1 Using for the first time: Pull the red tape in the direction indicated by the arrow. 2 Operation: For all timer functions, all that is required are the two keys M (minute) and S/R (stop and reset). 3 Setting the Timer: Press M once: +1 minute. Hold down M: Timer increases continually (max. 99 min.) 4 Reset Timer to 00:00: Hold down S/R for 2 seconds. 5 Start Timer: Press S/R once. 5 Interrupt Timer: Press S/R once while the timer is running. 5 Continue: Press S/R once when the timer is stopped. When the time has expired, an alarm sounds for 30 seconds. 6 Cancel alarm and reset time: Press M once. 7 Cancel alarm and retain time: Press S/R once. The timer returns to the previously set time. 8 Change Battery: Replace the battery with a new one of the same type (EPX76, LR44 or G13 1.5V). Take the old battery to your BODUM dealer or to your local recycling centre. 9 Cleaning: Clean the timer with a soft cloth. Do not use cleaning agents. 10 Mounting: Click directly onto the coffee ot tea pot. Mount on the cold pot! Attach first and then make coffee or tea! 11 Accessories: Cord for carrying the timer.
