The display screen just reads "please wait". It will allow calls out but doesn't ring to notify you of them coming in, and won't let anything on it be changed or accessed like speaker phone, anything with the answering machine area, or the display. Thoughts or ideas greatly appreciated.

Unit has power (turn table turns, light comes on, vent fan and range lamp work and clock and timer work) but does not heat. Has an odor of burning electronics but does not heat. It is a vent hood model that went south after cooking bacon in microwave. Any ideas? Model is jvm1642wb004

ringer option for handset and base are ON and its ringing when you choose melodies and the volume. but when you tried calling it doesnt ring,it only shows the caller id. please help.

My thinking may be out of date, but try unplugging all of the other phones in the house except this one, then see if this one rings. If it does, it means there's not enough 'power' to ring this phone. What you used to have to do is call the phone company and tell them the total number of Ringer Equivalence Units (I think that's the term) for all of your phones, and they will adjust whatever it is that needs adjusting to give you enough power to ring all of the phones. The Ringer Equivalence is usually stamped on the phone near the serial number and all the other manufacturing info. Does this make sense? I am going from memories of the early 90's, so my info may be out of date, but give it a try...

After using the Probe to roast a steak I sit the probe temperature to 160 and the oven temp. to 325. The steaks cooked great but the probe base melted and would not unplug. I need a new probe and the inside oven attachment. Is this a common problem with the probe melting and hanging the receptical?

Product Problem: Power

Changed the door latch that was broken, the unit worked momentarily then went dead. I checked the plug, the breakers all OK. Is it an internal fuse? How do I get to it and change it?
