My phone is answering on the 1st. or 2nd. ring even though it is set to activate the answering machine on the 4th. ring.

I have unplugged and replugged the power cord and that did not help.

Are there other settings?

1 press button "save" and the telephone number that you want to save 2 press "save" again and M1...M8 desired place in memory (or you can save in speed caller 0...9 - two touch caller) 3 press "save"

I can't remember how to reprogram the memory & make it stick. Also my caller ID hasn't been working consistently. And I thought there used to be a feature that allowed you to record conversations, but I can't remember how to do this. Thanks
